101 Films, an Amcomri Media Group company, has confirmed all rights acquisitions of a significant slate of movies for release in the UK in 2022.
97 Minutes (2022) is a pre-buy acquisition of a race-against-time thriller starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings), Alec Baldwin (Mission: Impossible Fallout) and Myana Buring (Kill List).
A hijacked 767 will crash in just 97 minutes when its fuel runs out. Against the strong will of NSA Deputy Toyin, NSA Director Hawkins prepares to have the plane shot down before it does any catastrophic damage on the ground, leaving the fate of the innocent passengers in the hands of Alex, an undercover Interpol agent who has been embedded in the terrorist cell.

Survive (2020) is a tension-filled survival thriller starring Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, X-Men: Dark Phoenix) and Corey Hawkins (Kong: Skull Island, BlacKkKlansmann). Originally released on Quibi as a 12-part short-episode TV series, it is now presented as a 90-minute feature film. When their plane crashes on a remote snow-covered mountain, Jane and Paul have to fight for their lives as the only remaining survivors. Together they embark on a harrowing journey out of the wilderness.

An offbeat new comedy from Scott Abramovitch. Based on Michael Kun’s 2003 novel The Locklear Letters, Hale plays an overeager marketing manager who attempts to prove he knew the actress Elizabeth Banks in college lead to his life and friendships to spiral out of control

Christmas in the Caribbean (2022) is a pre-buy deal of a seasonal rom-com starring Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers), Stephanie Beacham (Dynasty) and Caroline Quentin (Bridgerton). Hopeless romantic Rachel’s wedding dreams are shattered when she catches her groom high-tailing it out of the church minutes before they say “I do.” After getting jilted at the altar, Rachel and her two best friends take her scheduled Caribbean Christmas honeymoon where she unexpectedly finds true love under the sun.

The Slavs (2021) is a Slovak/Ukranian fantasy adventure 12-part TV series set in the 7th Century, and follows the lives of the occupants of the Carpathian basin, at the time before the union of Slav tribes. The plot takes place at the neighboring forts Big table and Furnau, which need each other for trade but the power interests and the pressure from the incoming Avar marauders will put them into conflict.

Defining Moments (2021) is the final film of film legend and Smokey and the Bandit star Burt Reynolds. A comedy also starring Graham Greene (Dances With Wolves) and Sienna Guillory (Fortitude). Defining Moments is a highly comedic film about that one single moment in time that changes you from who you were to who you'll be.

A man is shot and quickly buried in the high desert of west Texas. The body is found and reburied in Van Horn's town cemetery. Oppenheimer (1980) is a BAFTA winning TV series starring Oscar nominated Sam Waterston (The Killing Fields, Great Gatsby) as the father of the Atomic Bomb; Biography of the American physicist who led the U.S. effort to develop the atomic bomb during World War II, only to find himself suspected as a security risk in the 1950s because of his increasing ambivalence about the effect of his life's work. The release of this title will coincide with the theatrical release of the new Christopher Nolan film Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh.
